Job Summary and Qualifications
We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor of Patient Transport to join our team! As our Supervisor of Patient Transport, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the patient transportation department. Your team is responsible for safely moving patients throughout the hospital. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!
What you will do in this role:
· You will be responsible for assigning transporters duties and for monitoring the activities to improve productivity and assess employee performance.
· You will be responsible for scheduling, performance management, assigning duties, assisting with hiring and disciplinary decisions, ensuring staff meet certification requirements, and payroll duties.
· You will be responsible for participating in hiring decisions and disciplinary recommendations.
What Qualifications you will need:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
· Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
· Previous experience preferred
· Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with individuals
